In 2019, Masdar secured its first major renewable energy project in Saudi Arabia, the Dumat Al Jandal wind farm, Saudi Arabia’s first and the Middle East’s largest wind project. In the process, we set a new record for the most competitively priced wind power.

Solar Impulse 2 arrives in Egypt before homeward journey to Abu Dhabi
Solar Impulse 2 (Si2), the solar-powered plane attempting to become the first aircraft in the world to circumnavigate the globe without using a drop of fossil fuel, took another step towards its epic goal when it touched down in Egypt at 7:10 Egypt time today.
