WHAT IS ADSW

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) is the UAE’s global platform for accelerating sustainable progress. Hosted by Masdar, ADSW brings together leaders from government, business, finance, and civil society to translate ambition into tangible impact across interconnected systems, water, food, energy, technology, and investment. For more than fifteen years, ADSW has stood at the intersection of policy, technology, and investment, turning ideas into action and advancing solutions that balance environmental stewardship, economic resilience, and social progress.

As the world’s leading platform for sustainability collaboration, ADSW convenes an unparalleled global community each January in Abu Dhabi, complemented by year-round initiatives, to connect stakeholders, scale solutions, and drive measurable progress toward a thriving, inclusive future.

Throughout the year, ADSW conversations and initiatives facilitate knowledge sharing and collective action to ensure a sustainable world for future generations.

Globally-significant ADSW events include the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Assembly, the ADSW Summit, ADSW Dialogues, the Blue Forum, the Global South Utilities Forum, the Green Hydrogen Summit, the World Future Energy Summit, The Global Climate Finance Centre Annual Meeting, the Zayed Sustainability Prize Forum, Youth 4 Sustainability Forum and Hub, WiSER Annual Forum, and more.
