Overview

Masdar has entered into a Public Private Partnership Agreement to design, build and operate a 300MW solar photovoltaic power plant and 75MWh capacity battery energy storage system in the Kashkadarya Region in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Masdar reached financial close for the project during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026. The milestone was marked with a signing ceremony held at the Masdar Pavilion alongside representatives of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
