Masdar launches enhanced green building materials website

Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 16, 2014: Masdar on Sunday announced the official launch of its enhanced green building materials website, the Future Build, enabling the listed suppliers to market their products as The Future Build certified products.

First Large Scale Wind Farm Project in Seychelles Inaugurated

Envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and President James Alix Michel, the wind farm project is the first major renewable energy project in the Seychelles and will constitute 11% installed capacity of electricity on the main island, which will cut down on fossil fuel import and reduce greenhouse gas emission.

Masdar-led joint venture agrees financing for largest wind farm in Serbia

Financing for one of the largest wind power projects in mainland Europe has been agreed by the project’s shareholders and lenders at a ceremony in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.
