The fifth and final wind turbine for the Hywind Scotland commercial-scale floating offshore wind farm, a joint project between Masdar and Statoil, has arrived at its final destination, Buchan Deep, 25km east of Peterhead in Scotland.

Zayed Future Energy Prize Invites Entries to 10th Year

The 10th cycle of the Zayed Future Energy Prize is open for entries, it was announced earlier today. Submissions from eligible entrants are invited in the Small and Medium Enterprise, Non-Profit Organisation and Global High Schools categories, while the Large Corporation and Lifetime Achievement categories are open to nominations from the public. Masdar Unveils 2015 Sustainability Report

Masdar has released its 2015 Sustainability Report, documenting the renewable energy company’s sustainability milestones in the period October 2014 to September 2015. Masdar developed the report using the internationally recognised sustainability reporting framework from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), in accordance with the latest GRI G4 guidelines. WEC and Masdar Sign Patronship Agreement to Address Global Sustainable Energy Access

The World Energy Council (WEC) and Masdar have signed a Patronship Agreement, announced on the sidelines of COP21 in Paris. Masdar and China Vanke Co. Ltd. Sign Memorandum of Understanding
