Masdar signs JDA for the development of up to 400MW of solar projects in Armenia
Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) for the development of solar power projects with a total capacity of 400 MW in Armenia. LAGI international design competition winners announced
The Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) have announced the winners of this year’s LAGI international design competition at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi. Sponsored by Masdar, LAGI 2019 Abu Dhabi challenged design teams to create large-scale works of public art that also produce clean kilowatt-hours for the Masdar City grid using technologies such as solar and wind.

Solar Impulse 2 arrives in Egypt before homeward journey to Abu Dhabi
Solar Impulse 2 (Si2), the solar-powered plane attempting to become the first aircraft in the world to circumnavigate the globe without using a drop of fossil fuel, took another step towards its epic goal when it touched down in Egypt at 7:10 Egypt time today. First Eco-Friendly Credit Card Launched in the UAE
Major leading UAE financial institution, First Gulf Bank (FGB), will launch the UAE’s first green Visa Credit Card next week in association with Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, at the sixth World Future Energy Summit during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The First Gulf Bank Masdar Card allows members of the community to become more involved in different environmentally sustainable initiatives. The product falls in line within a series of socially geared products that FGB has developed recently.
