Delegation from Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh Visits Masdar City

Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his delegation from the Indian State of Madhya Pradesh visited Masdar City today. They met senior members of Masdar City’s management, and were given a guided tour to showcase the city as an example of sustainability and urban planning best practices. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Masdar Collaborate to Make UAE Diplomatic Buildings More Efficient

The Royle Barn Road battery energy storage system (BESS) plant is situated in Rochdale on a previously industrialized site, conforming to Masdar Arlington Energy’s strategy to house projects on land in need of redevelopment and regeneration. The 35MW/70Mwh plant will power 15,900 homes per day based upon two cycles per day. It is expected to become operational in Q2 2027.

Suriname Solar-PV Hybrid

This 1.2MWp Solar Power Plant is located at Anton de Kom University of Suriname Campus, also including 576kWh BESS for energy shifting, peak shaving, output stabilisation and education purposes. The Solar+BESS will be used for Renewable Energy Education courses in the faculty of Engineering.
