Masdar’s Shams 1 Solar Plant Celebrates Second Anniversary
Masdar celebrated the second anniversary of operations of its100-Megawatt Shams 1 Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant in Abu Dhabi’s western region. Masdar has entered into a Public Private Partnership Agreement to design, build and operate a 300MW solar photovoltaic power plant and 75MWh capacity battery energy storage system in the Kashkadarya Region in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
