Renewables Account for 72% of Global Power Expansion in 2019: IRENA
Renewable power accounted for almost three quarters, 72 per cent, of global power expansion last year, according to data from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Solar and wind contributed 90 per cent of the renewable capacity added in 2019.
