Masdar and Africa50 Join Forces to Accelerate Clean Energy Transition Across Africa

Masdar and Tonga Sign Mou to Build 500 KW Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant
Masdar will be in charge of the implementation and construction of a 500 KW solar photovoltaic power plant to be installed in Vava’u Island. The jury explained their decision for selecting the Siemens headquarters in Masdar City, one of the integrated units of Masdar, saying: "This is a thorough investigation of the design of large floorplate space in an extreme climate, with a well-explained proposition emerging. UAE announces new agreements under US$50m Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund
The UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund (UAE-CREF) has entered the second cycle of its three-year plan to build climate-resilient renewable energy projects in 16 Caribbean nations, successfully completing new development and funding agreements for the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guyana, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname.
