Sherabad Solar Project
In August 2021, Masdar signed an agreement with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JSC National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan to design, finance, build and operate a 457-megawatt (MW) utility-scale solar PV project in the Surkhandarya Region of Uzbekistan. This project reached full capacity in 2024, with commercial operation expected to commence in 2026.

Green Barbuda project
Masdar has implemented a hurricane-resistant clean energy plant in Antigua and Barbuda that contributes to Antigua and Barbuda's goal of producing 15 percent of its electricity needs from renewable sources by 2030. The project includes an 800kW diesel power plant and a 720kWh hybrid solar power plant, as well as an 863kWh battery system to store excess electricity generated.

Suriname Solar-PV Hybrid
This 1.2MWp Solar Power Plant is located at Anton de Kom University of Suriname Campus, also including 576kWh BESS for energy shifting, peak shaving, output stabilisation and education purposes. The Solar+BESS will be used for Renewable Energy Education courses in the faculty of Engineering.

Masdar’s 10 megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Siwa was the largest solar power installation in Egypt at the time of its completion in March 2015. The project is the first utility-scale solar power installation in the Arab Republic of Egypt and accounts for 30% of the grid capacity of Siwa City and its adjoining areas.
