Overview

Masdar is implementing a hurricane-resistant clean energy plant in Antigua and Barbuda that contributes to Antigua and Barbuda's goal of producing 15 percent of its electricity needs from renewable sources by 2030. The project includes a 720kWh hybrid solar power plant and an 800kW diesel power plant, as well as an 863kWh battery system to store excess electricity generated.
