Masdar signs collaboration agreement to develop major wind power portfolio in Egypt
Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, has signed a collaboration agreement to deliver a wind power portfolio of more than 800 megawatts (MW) in Egypt alongside Elsewedy Electric and Marubeni Corporation. Students Welcome the UAE’s Solar-Powered Car as it Reaches Shams 1 – Abu Dhabi’s 100MW Solar Plant
More than 200 school students cheered on the arrival of the Petroleum Institute’s solar-powered car as it reached Shams 1 – Abu Dhabi’s large-scale concentrated solar power plant – located in Al Gharbiya. New Zealand Partners with UAE to Boost Solar Power in the Solomon Islands
The United Arab Emirates and New Zealand has signed an arrangement for the development of a jointly funded 1 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in the Solomon Islands. Both countries share a common interest in the rapid deployment of renewable energy in developing countries, particularly in the Pacific region, and signed a renewable energy partnership arrangement in January 2014.

UAE Looks to Strengthen Economic Ties With China in Bilateral Talks
