Masdar City and DANA Sign MoU to develop beta site for innovative agritech pilot projects and testing in the UAE

Zayed Future Energy Prize Opens Submissions for 2013 Edition
The Prize will invite entries from companies, individuals, organizations and high schools prior to the deadline to submit – July 16, 2012, for a chance to win part of the US$4 million prize fund. In the presence of Mohammed bin Rashid, Masdar Signs Agreement with DEWA to deliver sixth phase of world’s largest single-site solar park PV Project
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (DEWA) and Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC, to build and operate the 1,800 megawatt (MW) sixth phase of the landmark Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, costing up to AED5.51 billion.

LAGI international design competition winners announced
The Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) have announced the winners of this year’s LAGI international design competition at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi.
