Join Masdar’s Y4S platform for summer sustainability workshops for youth

Masdar’s Youth 4 Sustainability strategic initiative is participating in workshop programs led by the UAE’s Ministry of Education and Ministry of Culture and Youth and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Education and Knowledge. 

Part of a schedule of summer activities, the sustainability-themed workshops are free to attend and are aimed at 15-35 year-olds, including high school and university students, as well as young professionals. Many of the activities are offered in Arabic and English and the schedule is included below, along with a link to sign-up on the relevant website. 

The Y4S team is hosting a number of Masdar-led presentations from August 5-13, covering a range of themes including: how to become a sustainability champion; the future of clean energy and sustainability – the Masdar story; and how to build a sustainable home. 

The virtual Summer Camp by the Ministry of Culture & Youth is offering a diverse programme of online activities, workshops, cultural screenings and panel discussions that will run until August 29. The aim of the program is to develop skills and capabilities across four areas: Culture & Creativity, Future Skills, New Media and Self-Development. For more information, please click here. 

The Department of Education and Knowledge’s Activity Platform is hosting a number of workshops and presentations to provide youth with higher education advice, new skills, competitions and activities for a fun-filled and meaningful break. The activities are taking place under four key themes: STEM & Innovation, Physical Education & Well-being, Enrichment, and Arts, Language & Culture.
