How sustainable technology will help Sharjah turn waste into energy
Sharjah has an ambitious goal to become the first zero-waste city in the Middle East by diverting all of its municipal waste away from landfill sites by 2020. Masdar to Deliver 12MW of Solar Power in Mauritania
Masdar today signed a contract with Mauritania’s Ministry of Petroleum, Energy, and Mines, to deliver seven solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, with a total capacity of 12 megawatts, providing access to clean and reliable energy to seven towns across the country. Completion of all the projects is expected by the first quarter of 2016.

Production of sustainable aviation fuel from solid waste
