Masdar signs JDA for the development of up to 400MW of solar projects in Armenia
Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) for the development of solar power projects with a total capacity of 400 MW in Armenia. The investment adds between US$300 million and US$320 million into the Armenian economy.

Abu Dhabi invests US$100 million in agricultural technology companies to secure food supply chains, Bloomberg reports
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has made agreements with agricultural technology companies, including Madar Farms, to deliver research and development and food production facilities in the emirate, Bloomberg reported. Authorities invested US$100 million in the companies, which also include AeroFarms and RNZ, as they look to build vertical farms to secure supply chains in reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, the news organization said.

Nature not rebounding quickly enough in COVID-19 pandemic, says HE Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak
While global measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic have temporarily reduced air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, they have also hampered efforts to prevent biodiversity loss, Her Excellency Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak said at a virtual event today.
