Masdar Annual Sustainability Report 2025

Masdar has released its 13th Annual Sustainability Report, showing a 38 percent increase in clean electricity generation from its operating projects in 2025.

Actual generation rose from 29.2 terawatt-hours (TWh) to 40.2TWh during the year, helping avoid 19.5 million tonnes of CO₂e. The increase reflects the continued expansion of Masdar’s global portfolio and the performance of its operating projects around the world.

Masdar increased capacity from projects in operation or under construction by approximately 40 percent, from 32 gigawatts (GW) to 45.8GW. A further 20.7GW of secured projects or projects approaching final investment approval brought Masdar’s total portfolio to 66.5GW by the end of 2025.
