Masdar has demonstrated its continued commitment to sustainability and corporate governance best practice with its latest sustainability report, which has been certified to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and is now available on the Masdar website.

Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, is celebrating 14 years of leadership in the sustainability sector, having been founded in April 2006 to make sustainability solutions commercially viable.

Fire at Masdar Offices Under Control

A fire started at approximately 1:30 am at the temporary Masdar offices on the outskirts of Masdar City. Masdar City and its buildings were not affected by the fire, and no one was injured. The fire caused damage to Block 1 and 2, a section of Masdar’s temporary offices. Abu Dhabi Civil Defence brought the fire under control and is looking into the cause.
