Masdar celebrates inauguration of first projects in Poland

Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, and Taaleri SolarWind II Fund, which invests in utility-scale wind and solar assets, formally inaugurated the wind farms that they jointly own in Poland.

Masdar Achieves Financial Close of London Array Project

Masdar Energy UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, today announced the completion of a 12 year limited-recourse project financing of up to £266 million for its stake in phase one of London Array. The landmark financing is the first time that a limited-recourse structure has been completed for an unincorporated joint venture within the renewable energy industry.

The Investment agreement for the 445MW Bilasuvar Solar project was reached in October 2023, followed by the signing of Power Purchase Agreements, Transmission Connection Agreements, and Land Lease Agreements.

Neftchala Solar Power Plant

The Investment agreement for the 315MW Neftchala Solar project was reached in October 2023, followed by the signing of Power Purchase Agreements, Transmission Connection Agreements, and Land Lease Agreements.

Siwa Solar PV Plant

Masdar’s 10 megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Siwa was the largest solar power installation in Egypt at the time of its completion in March 2015. The project is the first utility-scale solar power installation in the Arab Republic of Egypt and accounts for 30% of the grid capacity of Siwa City and its adjoining areas.

Big Beau

Big Beau is a 164 MWdc solar PV and 40 MW/160 MWh battery energy-storage system. Located in Kern County, California. The project features more than 443 thousand Bifacial Canadian Solar panels with power electronics inverters on ATI trackers.
