Zayed Future Energy Prize Invites Entries to 10th Year
The 10th cycle of the Zayed Future Energy Prize is open for entries, it was announced earlier today. Submissions from eligible entrants are invited in the Small and Medium Enterprise, Non-Profit Organisation and Global High Schools categories, while the Large Corporation and Lifetime Achievement categories are open to nominations from the public. Entries will close on 6July 2017.

Masdar to Deliver 12MW of Solar Power in Mauritania
Masdar today signed a contract with Mauritania’s Ministry of Petroleum, Energy, and Mines, to deliver seven solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, with a total capacity of 12 megawatts, providing access to clean and reliable energy to seven towns across the country. Completion of all the projects is expected by the first quarter of 2016.

Masdar and China Vanke Co. Ltd. Sign Memorandum of Understanding
Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, and China Vanke Co. Ltd. (Vanke), the Masdar Institute, BGI and China Merchants New Energy Group Limited (CMNE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration on potential projects in both the UAE and China.
