Masdar Opens New Office in Saudi Arabia
Masdar, one of the world’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, has pledged to strengthen its support for Saudi Arabia’s clean energy objectives, with the opening of a new dedicated office in the Kingdom. Masdar will also participate with partners in the upcoming Round 4 tender announced by the Saudi Power Procurement Co. (SPPC) for wind and solar projects with a combined capacity of 3.3 gigawatts (GW).

UAE President, Egyptian counterpart witness signing of agreement to develop one of world’s largest onshore wind projects in Egypt
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt witnessed the signing of an agreement between Masdar, one of the world’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, along with its Infinity Power joint venture with Infinity, Egypt’s main renewable energy developer, and Hassan Allam Utilities, to develop a 10-gigawatt (GW) onshore wind project in Egypt – one of the largest wind farms in the world.

This year’s EE Global Forum was the fifth annual gathering of discussions on how to increase energy efficiency through technological breakthroughs and policy advances. Mohamed bin Zayed honors winners of Parent-friendly Label
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan this week honored Masdar and other winners of the first cycle of the Parent-friendly Label (PFL), at Qasr Al Bahar. Masdar signs agreement to develop Georgia’s largest utility-scale solar power plant
