Siemens Headquarters Chosen for Top Architectural Award
The jury explained their decision for selecting the Siemens headquarters in Masdar City, one of the integrated units of Masdar, saying: "This is a thorough investigation of the design of large floorplate space in an extreme climate, with a well-explained proposition emerging. UAE and partners to build resilient green power system for hurricane-ravaged Barbuda

Solar Impulse 2 arrives in Egypt before homeward journey to Abu Dhabi
Solar Impulse 2 (Si2), the solar-powered plane attempting to become the first aircraft in the world to circumnavigate the globe without using a drop of fossil fuel, took another step towards its epic goal when it touched down in Egypt at 7:10 Egypt time today.
