MENA Startups Participate in “Pitch Sprint” as Part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016
Abu Dhabi, UAE – 21 January, 2016: Promising technology startups, focused on technologies for sustainability, today had the chance to present their innovations at the first “Pitch Sprint” held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The invitation only, half-day, technology showcase was hosted by The Catalyst, the region’s first technology startup accelerator focused on sustainability and clean technologies, which was launched in November during UAE Innovation Week. The Catalyst is a partnership between Masdar, BP and Masdar Institute.

UAE and New Zealand inaugurate solar power plant in Solomon Islands

President of Palau Inaugurates Masdar-Developed Solar Projects in Palau

Tommy Remengesau, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, yesterday inaugurated three small-scale solar energy projects in the South Pacific island nation of Palau. Mission Accomplished for UAE-Pacific Partnership Fund as Masdar Delivers 11 Clean Energy Projects
