Y4S launches new climate debate series

Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) has launched a new monthly debate platform on climate change called Y4S Climate Talk.
In the first debate, Y4S members discussed the importance of the UAE hosting COP28 in 2023 and the opportunity this gives young people in the region to make their voices heard on climate issues.
Over the coming months, Y4S Climate Talk will welcome influential figures and changemakers in climate action and sustainability from around the world to join the discussion. The debates will be available to watch through the Y4S social media channels and website.
Shaikha Al Hosani, Senior Outreach Officer at Masdar, said: “We are excited about the launch of Y4S Climate Talk as we know that young people care deeply about the planet and are eager to contribute towards mitigating the negative impacts of climate change. Y4S Climate Talk gives them a regular platform to engage in meaningful discussions on topical issues to do with climate change and highlight the power and potential young people have to make a real difference in climate action and building a more sustainable future for all of us."
