Ban Ki-moon Launching UN’s International Year of Sustainable Energy for All at WFES
The Secretary-General’s return to Abu Dhabi underscores the importance he places on energy issues, most notably his new Sustainable Energy for All Initiative. Federal National Council Delegation Visits Masdar

Global CCS Institute Opens First Regional Headquarters at Masdar City
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; 30th August 2022: Masdar City, the regional home of technology innovation and R&D in Abu Dhabi, has announced the opening of the Global Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Institute’s first Middle East headquarters. The opening was attended by the Institute’s global CEO, Jarad Daniels, who was visiting the region as part of a five-day tour, accompanied by the Institute’s Head of the MENA Region, Dr Mohammed Abu Zahra, and General Manager of Client Engagement, Jeff Erikson.

Masdar CEO named United Nations’ “Champion of the Earth”

UAE announces new agreements under US$50m Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund
