Masdar signs landmark agreements to develop 4 GW-capacity green hydrogen plants in Egypt by 2030
Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, and Hassan Allam Utilities, the investment and development arm of Hassan Allam Holding Group, announced today that they have signed two Memorandums of Understanding with leading Egyptian state-backed organizations to cooperate on the development of green hydrogen production plants in the Suez Canal Economic Zone and on the Mediterranean coast.

The contest received 106 entries from 40 countries, all of which creatively described the ideal, sustainable city of the future. Global Leaders Convene for Start of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016
Tomorrow (16 January, 2016), global policy and business leaders will convene in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for the first official day of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016 (ADSW), the largest gathering on sustainability in the history of the Middle East. UAE and partners to build resilient green power system for hurricane-ravaged Barbuda
The UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund (UAE-CREF) has announced a partnership with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda’s Ministry of Public Utilities, Civil Aviation, Transport and Energy, the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (NZMFAT) to restore power to Barbuda following the near-total destruction of the island after Hurricane Irma struck in September 2017.
