IRENA Global Headquarters Building at Masdar City is Completed

Masdar today announced the completion of the IRENA Global Headquarters complex, which is almost fully leased and will be the permanent home of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), as well as other commercial tenants. Celebrating 3 Years of Reliable, Clean Energy from Shams 1 Solar Power Plant

Solar Impulse Completes Historic Transatlantic Crossing

Solar Impulse 2 touched down in Europe early this morning after completing its historic journey across the Atlantic Ocean. The plane landed in Seville, Spain, just 60 kilometres west of the Gemasolar Thermosolar Plant, a solar thermal plant backed by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company and host partner of Solar Impulse.
