Shams Power Company Achieves New Milestone

In June 2019, Shams Power Company successfully achieved 1 million man hours without lost time injuries (LTI). LTI is defined as an occurrence that results in a fatality, permanent disability or time lost from work during a certain period of time. Solar Impulse Completes Historic Transatlantic Crossing

Solar Impulse 2 touched down in Europe early this morning after completing its historic journey across the Atlantic Ocean. The plane landed in Seville, Spain, just 60 kilometres west of the Gemasolar Thermosolar Plant, a solar thermal plant backed by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company and host partner of Solar Impulse.
