Y4S Leader travels to Antarctica on climate mission
Athra Khamis, a Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) Future Sustainability Leader, has swapped the desert environment of the UAE for a very different kind of desert: Antarctica. The 24-year old Emirati participated in March in the 2041 ClimateForce: Antarctica Expedition, organized by the 2041 Foundation, as part of a group of global youth leaders to witness firsthand the effects of climate change on the continent and raise awareness of the issue.

UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund announces major projects in five countries

Masdar-led joint venture agrees financing for largest wind farm in Serbia
Financing for one of the largest wind power projects in mainland Europe has been agreed by the project’s shareholders and lenders at a ceremony in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.
