First Wind Turbine at Dhofar Installed
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, December 26, 2018: Masdar, the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, announced today the installation of the first of 13 turbines at the 50 megawatt (MW) Dhofar Wind Farm. Bio-fuels and new-generation technologies coupled with known operations and infrastructure measures, will help the aviation industry reduce carbon emissions substantially. Masdar and Equinor inaugurate world’s first battery storage facility connected to an offshore wind

Hywind Scotland inauguration positions Masdar at the forefront of floating wind technology
