Mayor of London Boris Johnson Visits Masdar City
As part of his Masdar City tour, Johnson visited the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, a graduate level, research-oriented university focused on alternative energy and sustainability. The Mayor met with staff and students to discuss the research being undertaken to advance renewable energy and clean technologies. He was keen to the view the innovative design of Masdar City, its rigorous sustainability standards as well as its integration of energy-efficiency technology with passive and intelligent design.

UAE Looks to Strengthen Economic Ties With China in Bilateral Talks
Major Gen Omar al Bitar Opportunities to strengthen economic ties between the United Arab Emirates and China, were the focus of talks during a two-day visit to China by UAE minister of state H.E Dr. Sultan Al Jaber.
