Y4S Leader travels to Antarctica on climate mission
Athra Khamis, a Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) Future Sustainability Leader, has swapped the desert environment of the UAE for a very different kind of desert: Antarctica. The 24-year old Emirati participated in March in the 2041 ClimateForce: Antarctica Expedition, organized by the 2041 Foundation, as part of a group of global youth leaders to witness firsthand the effects of climate change on the continent and raise awareness of the issue.

UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund announces major projects in five countries
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) today announced the first five projects under the US$50 million UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund (the Fund) across Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
