Masdar agrees to acquire stakes in two US wind farms

US$50m UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund in Talks with 6 Caribbean Countries

Masdar Unveils 2015 Sustainability Report
Masdar has released its 2015 Sustainability Report, documenting the renewable energy company’s sustainability milestones in the period October 2014 to September 2015. Masdar developed the report using the internationally recognised sustainability reporting framework from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), in accordance with the latest GRI G4 guidelines. Zayed Future Energy Prize expands global reach in record year for entries
The Zayed Future Energy Prize has closed submissions for its 10th cycle with a record of 2,296 entries – a 37 percent increase compared to 2016. Nominations for the Large Corporation and Lifetime Achievement categories yielded 1,113 entries, while the remaining 1,183 submissions were for Small & Medium Enterprise, Non-Profit Organisation, and Global High Schools categories.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson Visits Masdar City
As part of his Masdar City tour, Johnson visited the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, a graduate level, research-oriented university focused on alternative energy and sustainability.
