Masdar Opens New Office in Saudi Arabia
Masdar, one of the world’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, has pledged to strengthen its support for Saudi Arabia’s clean energy objectives, with the opening of a new dedicated office in the Kingdom. Masdar will also participate with partners in the upcoming Round 4 tender announced by the Saudi Power Procurement Co. Masdar agrees to develop 4 GW of clean energy projects in Azerbaijan
Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, has signed implementation agreements with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to develop clean and renewable energy projects in the country with a combined confirmed capacity of 4,000 megawatts (MW) as an exclusive concession, with the right to develop an additional 6,000 MW as a second phase, bringing the total production capacity of these projects to 10,000 MW – the largest such signing in Azerbaijan’s history.

Abu Dhabi invests US$100 million in agricultural technology companies to secure food supply chains, Bloomberg reports
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has made agreements with agricultural technology companies, including Madar Farms, to deliver research and development and food production facilities in the emirate, Bloomberg reported. Authorities invested US$100 million in the companies, which also include AeroFarms and RNZ, as they look to build vertical farms to secure supply chains in reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, the news organization said.
