Tech Park to fuel startups in Abu Dhabi

Global Leaders Launch WiSER Initiative at New York City Event

Masdar Hits Halfway Milestone in Project Bringing Electricity to Rural Morocco

Mayor of London Boris Johnson Visits Masdar City
As part of his Masdar City tour, Johnson visited the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, a graduate level, research-oriented university focused on alternative energy and sustainability. The Mayor met with staff and students to discuss the research being undertaken to advance renewable energy and clean technologies. He was keen to the view the innovative design of Masdar City, its rigorous sustainability standards as well as its integration of energy-efficiency technology with passive and intelligent design.

Finalists announced for 2018 Zayed Future Energy Prize
International experts from the fields of energy, sustainability and education chose a shortlist of 34 finalists for the 2018 Zayed Future Energy Prize on Sunday and Monday during the third of a rigorous four-stage evaluation process. The finalists will now be discussed during a meeting of the prize’s Jury at the end of this month, with the winners to be announced at the annual awards ceremony during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in January.
