Overview
This landmark energy and water-saving project at the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development HQ building involved the installation of an advanced chiller plant manager, variable frequency drives (VFDs) on the ventilation system, an advanced ventilation and air-conditioning control system, a new chiller, wet wall system on chillers, LED lights, various water-saving devices and an energy management system. The measures implemented resulted in nearly 40 percent savings on energy and water.
