Shaloo Kakkar Kulkarni is the Chief People Officer at Masdar, where she is responsible for leading the company’s human capital strategy, cultivating a high-performance culture, and driving talent development to support Masdar’s ambitious global growth.
Shaloo brings over 25 years of global experience in human resources and organizational transformation, with a track record of leading people strategy across diverse sectors including energy, financial services, private equity, technology, and FMCG. Her career spans multiple geographies - Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas - and includes senior roles in both consulting and industry.
Before joining Masdar, Shaloo was a Senior Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, working with several leading energy and industrial organizations in the Middle East, advising boards and executive leadership teams on organizational performance, culture, and leadership. She has worked with global organizations including Accenture, Citibank and Banco Santander and has led large-scale transformation programs across various organization contexts, including optimization, greenfield growth and M&A integration.
A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), Shaloo has also served as an interim CHRO and senior advisor to boards across a variety of industries in the GCC region. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
Shaloo is based in Abu Dhabi and is passionate about building high-performing, inclusive and agile organizations that foster continuous learning and contribute to a sustainable future.
