Energy Services

Masdar’s Energy Services unit is responsible for projects involving both supply- and demand-side energy solutions. The unit has three main functions: Operations and Maintenance, Energy Services, and Project Management Services. Its holistic approach to project engagements encompasses:

  • Extensive knowledge of renewable energy and clean-tech systems
  • End-to-end project realization, including client representation and full project management and consulting
  • Access to an extensive network of relationships in government, industry, academia, and non-profit organizations
  • Access to Masdar’s transparent and highly regarded procurement regime, including its extensive database of suppliers
  • Experience implementing a wide range of renewable energy applications, including rural electrification, hybridization and sustainable resource-management solutions
Project Management Services

The Project Management Services department delivers renewable energy projects, many of which are located in remote areas characterized by challenging logistics.

The department specializes in providing life-cycle project management services and delivering renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects meeting the highest standards efficiently and economically.

The department works with governments, non-governmental organizations, non-profit organizations, aid programmers, armed forces and civil defense units, as well as small- and medium-sized companies and individual clients in countries as diverse as Afghanistan, Morocco, Tonga, Egypt, Mauritania and Samoa.

Energy Services

The Energy Services team supports Masdar’s clients in adopting sustainability best practices across their operations. The department provides additional support in the form of project financing options and performance contracting agreements.

Operations and Maintenance

The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department provides comprehensive O&M services for renewable energy projects to ensure they are performing at their peak while generating optimum value.
