The Eco-Villa is an exciting Masdar- backed pilot project that uses passive and active design features to be a ‘net zero energy’ villa. Designed to be a 4 Pearl rating villa as per the Urban Planning Council’s Estidama system, the Eco-Villa uses 72% less energy and 35% less water than villas of a comparable size in Abu Dhabi.

Launched in January 2017, the villa will host an Emirati family for a period of 12 months, during which Masdar City will monitor key metrics related to energy, water and waste, with a view to incorporating these learnings for developments in the future. The villa will be open for viewing for a very limited time. Register your interest by booking here.
